My favorite childhood memory is playing basketball outside with my siblings and neighbors. 

What's a fun or surprising fact about yourself that most people don't know?
In high school, I was the #1 three point shooter in the state! 

Who is someone who inspired you growing up, and why?
My parents really inspired me to become an educator and find joy in learning!

I have never been out of the country:(

Who is someone who inspired you growing up, and why?
My older sister because she is confident and always follows her heart when making decisions.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

To shape shift into any animal like The Wild Kratts so that I could see the world as different animals.

Playing mermaids with my sister at the Naples Beach. 

What's a fun or surprising fact about yourself that most people don't know?

I wrote a children's book a few summers ago called

 Manny the Mangrove and it has yet to be published!

Who is someone who inspired you growing up, and why?

Ms. Frizzle from the Magic School Bus--I loved day dreaming about the possibilities of learning science outside of the classroom. Now, I am a firm believer that our best classroom exists outside of four walls.

What is your favorite science experiment? 

My favorite science experiment would be making volcanoes with baking soda, vinegar, and dish soap. 

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

I would want the ability to time travel because being able to go into the past or zoom into the future would be so neat! I am also a fan of the Back to The Future film series.

What's your favorite childhood memory from summer? 

 My favorite childhood memory from summer would have to probably be taking a family trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee where we saw Ruby Falls and Rock City! 

What's a fun or surprising fact about yourself that most people don't know?

 Fun Fact: I am friends with all of the Disney Princesses! :)

Who is someone who inspired you growing up, and why?

My high school theatre teacher inspired me to chase my dreams of staying involved with musical theatre and the arts going forward as an adult!

Teleportation so I could finish class and immediately teleport to where I need to go!

What's your favorite childhood memory from summer?
One of my favorite childhood memories of summer was going to camp. Every year it felt like something I looked forward to. I loved spending time with friends. At camp we were always doing something fun!

What's a fun or surprising fact about yourself that most people don't know?
A fun fact about me that most people don’t know is that I’m really good at remembering song lyrics. Even if I haven’t heard a song in a long time, as soon as it starts playing I can usually sing along to most of the words. 🎶

Who is someone who inspired you growing up, and why?
Someone who inspired me growing up was my high school medical teacher. She played a big role in getting me interested in the healthcare field. She was always supportive and encouraged me to work hard and believe in my abilities. Her passion for teaching and for medicine made the class exciting and helped me realize that I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. Because of her encouragement and guidance, she had a big influence on my decision to follow a path in the medical field.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I would like to teleport, because I would like to travel the world and visit many states and countries.

What's your favorite childhood memory from summer?
Whenever we got to visit our family friends in Central Florida. We would hangout, play video games, sing karoke, and eat great Filipino food!

What's a fun or surprising fact about yourself that most people don't know?
I swam with whale sharks in the Philippines!

Who is someone who inspired you growing up, and why?
My own english, social studies, and science teachers throughout my schooling including university. They all inspired me to explore the world around us, to keep learning, and to love what they do. They taught me and now I teach students!

If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?

If I could have any superpower, it would be to teleport because I could travel around the world and experience different lifestyles and cultures in a matter of seconds. 

What's your favorite childhood memory from summer?
My favorite childhood memory from summer is eating a popsicle and watching tv after playing outside all day. 

What's a fun or surprising fact about yourself that most people don't know?
A fun or surprising fact about myself that most people may not know is that I am a Gel X manicurist. 

Who is someone who inspired you growing up, and why?
Someone who inspired me growing up is my mom because she always works hard and perseveres through difficult situations.

What is your favorite science experiment?

Out of all the amazing science experiments out there, my favorite is the egg drop challenge. I have performed it many times and still find new ways to do it.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

To have the superpower of time freezing would be the most ideal, as it would allow me to get more work done.

What's your favorite childhood memory from summer?

Visiting the countryside of New York, with my family, was always my favorite part of summer.

I've written two books.

My father inspired my growing up, he is someone I always looked up to for advice both academically and morally.
