Summer Science Camps 2026

Let the games begin! Before the opening ceremony and the passing of the paper torch, campers will form teams and design logos and t-shirts. Teams will compete in this summer's events at our cooking science camp, which include the 2026 balloon volleyball tournament, Newton's Anti-Gravity Challenge, and Human Shuffle Board, where campers ride on a hovercraft to earn points. Shoot arrows, launch marshmallows, sword fight with pool noodles, and throw a javelin for distance. On water day Wednesday, the aquatic events include a slime slingshot, classic water balloon toss and battle, a simple machine water obstacle course, and a bunch of totally made-up games like uphill waterslide. Bring your favorite games to the real world with Mario Kart and Quidditch. With so many games, we can’t list them all here—you’ll even get to invent a few games of your own! Yes, Chef! Join us for Kitchen Chemistry, a cooking science camp with a culinary twist. Experience traditional chemistry concepts with oobleck, slime, chemical reactions, and color changes, while discovering how to turn that knowledge into delicious snacks. Create everything from edible slime to no-bake cookies, chocolate art, and personal pizzas. Enjoy a snow cone and even have a mini snowball battle. Get creative with colors using cabbage and milk, and cook s'mores using the sun. Celebrate all your hard work with an ice cream dance party, all while enjoying plenty of outside playtime, indoor games, and hanging out with friends. This Kitchen Chemistry camp is truly a recipe for a fantastic week filled with fun and learning! Please note that some ingredients may contain nuts, gluten, and dairy.

Campers spend the week training as junior spies through hands-on missions like cracking secret codes, writing invisible-ink messages, analyzing fingerprints, and creating simple disguises. They also test their agility on stealth obstacle courses, navigate a kid-friendly laser maze, and tackle clue trails and team-based puzzles, much like activities found in STEM summer camps. The week wraps with a final mission that brings all their spy skills together in one exciting adventure, reminiscent of the creativity seen at a cooking science camp.

Taking your creativity and building skills to a whole new level is a key aspect of our STEM summer camps. Here, you can learn the basics of electrical, mechanical, chemical, and structural engineering through exciting activities like Lego build challenges, mini electric car races, judo lever wrestling, and wind power lifts. You will team up and engage in friendly competitions to build, break, and improve your designs. Play with gears, motors, circuits, and simple machines while building vex robotics and Lego robotics to see which design comes out on top. Each day, we create a make and take project that you can share with friends and family, helping you to keep improving at home. Enter the Super Science and Amazing Art Stage & Screen Studios at the Norris Center, where creativity meets fun! This is not your typical cooking science camp; we are here to learn the tricks of the trade and make unforgettable memories. Utilizing the professional stage at the Norris Center, we will build sets, create props, and design costumes. Participants will operate lights, cameras, and sound in our full film production studio, taking ideas from script to silver screen. Additionally, we will enjoy outdoor games, snacks, and popsicles with friends, while engaging in theater games and comedy sports. Over the course of two weeks, we will produce our variety show, showcasing elements of stage performance and short films. Friends, loved ones, and special guests will be invited to enjoy our completed production, making this one of the most exciting STEM summer camps around!

Think Bill Nye The Science Guy! Super Science and Amazing Art is celebrating 20 years of educating and entertaining students all over Southwest Florida through exciting STEM summer camps. Join us for a cooking science camp where you can perform your very own Super Science show featuring dry ice, Van de Graaff generators, hovercrafts, rockets, and fog. We will also enjoy plenty of outside games, snacks, and popsicles with friends, along with theater games and comedy sports. Work alongside fellow super scientists to create a performance that will amaze and astonish your friends and loved ones. On the last day of camp, we’ll invite everyone to see the show.

Super Science & Amazing Art is thrilled to partner with Gulf Coast Charter Academy South, bringing our two decades of hands-on STEM summer camps and Art Adventures to Southwest Florida. Together, we’ll inspire curiosity on their dynamic campus, offering enriching experiences in an inspiring new setting. From June through July, our camps will inspire creativity and discovery every day. In the arts, campers will dive into clay sculpting, claymation, 3D design, painting, drawing, and origami. On the science side, they’ll zoom on hovercrafts, concoct countless slime varieties, tackle robotics, and take on engineering challenges—plus much more. Each week promises hands-on excitement for every young innovator. Additionally, our cooking science camp will introduce campers to the fun intersection of culinary arts and scientific principles. Each week campers will build skills in activities they enjoy; for example, if they want to build a Lego robot, that can start week one and continue throughout the whole summer. Camp will also offer different activities week to week. Camps run Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, at $175 per week. We limit each group to 15 campers, with six groups total, serving elementary students (K–5).
