FreePlay, Friday, allows club members to explore their own ideas, work with all the tools and materials we have, and create great things.

FreePlay Friday is based on the MIT Edgerton Center continues the hands-on legacy of Harold Doc Edgerton.

For members who aren’t sure where to start, we have plenty of fun activities that will teach them about 3-D printing, laser, cutting, and everything from woodwork to photography and art.

Based on the MIT philosophy we will be guided by:

The Creative Learning Spiral

• Imagine: Children start by thinking up an idea or a goal.
• Create: They build or make an artifact based on that idea.
• Play: They experiment and interact with their creation.
• Share & Reflect: They collaborate with others, review outcomes, and spark new ideas.

If you can dream it, we can make it!
