Yes, Chef!  Kitchen Chemistry with a culinary twist. Take your traditional chemistry class with oobleck, slime, chemical reactions, and color changes, and see how all that knowledge can make great snacks.  Make everything from slime-you-can-eat, to no-bake cookies, chocolate art, and personal pizzas. Have a snow cone and a mini snowball battle.  Get creative colors with cabbage and milk. Cook smores with the sun.  Celebrate all your efforts with an ice cream dance party.  All of this mixed with tons of outside playtime, indoor games, and hanging out with friends, makes a recipe for a great week of camp.

During this camp, some ingredients will have nuts, gluten, and dairy.

Description

Taking your creativity and building skills to a whole new level.  Learn the basics of electrical, mechanical, chemical, and structural engineering with: Lego build challenges, mini electric car races, judo lever wrestling, and wind power lifts.  You will team up and take part in friendly competitions to build, break, and improve your designs.  Play with gears, motors, circuits, simple machines, lights, and more. Take what you make and keep improving at home.  Let’s start building!

Hello one and all welcome to Javelinabump Americana, the distant American cousin of the school of Hogwarts in the UK.  Divided into two houses Emperador and Westerfield our young Witches and Wizards will first make wands that light up, personal cloaks, and earn points for their houses throughout the week.  Classes will include, Dueling Wands, Popping Potions, Levitation on a hovercraft, our version of Quidditch, and Muggle Magic.  

Muggle magic includes making and learning a different magic trick each day so you can share magic with everyone without giving away any secrets.

On Friday's graduation, you may invite your friends and loved ones to enjoy the last hour of the week while you show them a bit of magic!

Description

In a galaxy not so far away we will go where no camp has gone before to explore the power of your imagination.  Build mini bots you can take home while competing in robot challenges with Lego robots.  Design, build, and launch water rockets then make improvements and launch it again! Play interplanetary dodgeball.  Eat space ice cream.  Fly drones.  Enter the star dome, look at the stars, tell myths and star stories, and create your own.  Use a green screen and movie magic to take pictures of yourself and your newfound friends throughout the cosmos.  Set phasers to fun and jump into lightspeed as we take off into the future!

Enter the Super Science and Amazing Art Stage & Screen Studios.  This is not your stuffy studio productions.  We are here to have fun, learn the tricks of the trade, and make memories that last forever.  Using the professional stage at the Norris Center we will build the sets, make the props, and create the costumes.  Operate the lights, cameras, and sound.  With our full film production studio we can take our ideas from script stage to the silver screen.  In two weeks we will produce our variety show including elements of the stage and short films.  We will invite friends, loved ones, and special guests to enjoy our completed works. 

This is a 2 week camp.

Super Science and Amazing Art is celebrating 20 years of educating and entertaining students all over South West Florida. Large Science and Art assemblies have been enjoyed by thousands of elementary aged children, and now it’s your turn to shine.  Experiment with chemistry, physics, and earth and space sciences.  Practice performing with hovercrafts, rockets, and fog.  Work with fellow super scientists to put together a performance to amaze and astonish your friends and loved ones. On the last day of camp we will invite everyone to see the show so you can show what you know!

This is a 2 week camp.
